GHOST BC - Swedish heavy metal band formed in Stockholm in 2008.

Their debut album Opus Eponymous has been called “must have stuff” by Blistering while Alarm Press calls out the album as “wildly catchy and full of melodic twists.”

Ghost BC are recognizable thanks to their eccentric performances on stage during which five of the group members wear dark hooded robes and the vocalist appears in a skull mask and a cardinal outfit. Team members try to avoid mentioning their identity and they are known as Nameless Ghouls, while the singer occurs as Papa Emeritus.

"I'm in their fan club. [Laughs] I had no idea what they looked like until I saw the video. I heard the music first and I thought it was very great — very unique, very melodic and a breath of fresh air for metal. It reminded me a bit of '70s kind of rock that I liked as well. So yeah, I love the band." says James Hetfield, Metallica.

Village Voice about the band: "GHOST is Swedish, heavy, and tasked with slicing your soul to bits--or at least your ears".

GHOST is a winner of “Breakthrough Artist” at the Metal Hammer 2012 awards and played all major festivals this summer including Download, Rock im ring Rock Am Park, Graspop, Lowlands etc…
